This cut of the images is by location. And if you are asking what has location got to be with an images artistic impact, then I would respond that often maybe not much, but sometines, just sometimes, the location gives the context that gives the image its power.

The pictures from Belfast and Dublin below amply demonstrate that point. The protestant monument with H&W’s Samson and Hercules in the background is not just another Belfast picture, it is making a statement about the protestant’s forceful forward march.

And where else but Dublin, would a ‘Tick follows Tock follows Tick’ image have any meaning.
