Dublin

These photos were taken during a long week-end break in Dublin in March 2019. (We spent three days in Dublin, before driving up the east coast of Ireland to Belfast). The Castle, Prison, and the Post Office are harsh reminders of the draconian suppression inflicted by the British before the people finally suceeded in throwing off their shackles and winning their freedom.

Then there is the Book of Kells and Trinity College Library, both just awe inspiring.

And it is true what they say – Guiness definitely tastes better in Dublin than anywhere else.
